Well, no...not the actual Duke...but we think what we have going on at ASYP is even better than a visit from Royalty!
One of our amazing Young People, Susie, is currently doing her DofE Bronze Award and as part of the achievement, she has chosen to Volunteer here at All Saints in our Tuesday evening Gateway to Inclusion Sessions.
Every Tuesday, Susie arrives earlier than her peers and undertakes various tasks such as;
Cleaning down equipment and setting up safely for the session
Keeping a Register of attendance and taking Temperatures of Young People who attend
Various filing and organisations tasks in the Activity room
Running group games with the Young People
and helping staff clean and pack away at the end.
Susie has been a great asset to the team, and we are thrilled that she has chosen ASYP to help her achieve her DofE Bronze award!
Next step...all the way to the Gold, which we have no doubt Susie will achieve! :)
