FREE INCLUSIVE INTERGENERATIONAL EVENT - JULY 22ND 2022
The young people at All Saints Youth Project are known to have an appreciation for recreational activities and sports. When coupled with sunshine, the freedom of a summers day, and the outdoors, can makes for as great time to engage in some healthy competitiveness and fun.
With the topic of sport is a popular point of discussion, as the Commonwealth Games commences in our city in 35 days from now. Subsequently, creating much buzz across our neighbourhoods within Birmingham, and local organisations like ours; to consider the impact of sport in our lives and in our communities, in the present and near future.
Fortunately Birmingham City Council and the Commonwealth Games too acknowledge this as improved health, wellbeing and unity. Through their 'CELEBRATING COMMUNITIES' initiative, that aims to support and nurture such outcomes. All Saints Youth Project has been successful in receiving a grant,
thanks to this partnership. The money awarded has now afforded us to purchase some much-needed new sports equipment and enabled us to facilitate a local community event.
