....(Or on the Selly Oak Safari)
On the 31st August, our Inclusion+ group set out on the seas of Birmingham, using funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to explore the "Self Oak Safari"a 3-hour boat trip along some of Birmingham's vast Canal network.
The group enjoyed sightseeing, music, food and each others company, experiencing their local environment in a new way. But let's see what they have to say about it:
"I had an amazing time. It was my very first time on a Barge and I loved it!"
"It was great music, great food and was my first time on a Barge. It was the best time ever!" Hannah
"I liked the boat ride and waving at everyone as we passed and seeing them all wave back." Liam
"I liked dancing on the boat to the music, especially the Neil Diamond songs!"
"I liked the trip because I was dancing and enjoying myself with my friends. I didn't like it when it first started but I enjoyed it"
THANK YOU TO THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE
