Young people from All Saints Youth Project made signs during half term to take to the Knife Angel in Birmingham city centre to show their support.

The young people were in awe at the 100,000 blades that have been turned into a symbol of hope amidst a lot of sadness.

At first I thought it looked pretty sinister but once I realised the piece is made up of knives given by people wanting to walk away from knife crime, I felt like it was an incredible but sobering way to depict the popularity of carrying a knife and how it is a very real problem we have.

Please help them fundraise to develop a greater campaign to blunt knife crime
