At this time of year, there are lots of big sporting events happening all around the world. For instance, football, cricket, women's football, Olympics next year and many many more. This was my inspiration for this week's first question: what’s your favourite sport[s] to watch/play/etc? Here are the responses!

  • swimming, cycling, horses
  • Football, boxing, MMA
  • Basketball
  • Dance or netball
  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Netball + swimming
  • NBA to watch

Sport is great for so many reasons!! Both our physical and emotional/mental health experience benefits from sport, as well as bringing people together in support of those who play sports, whether professionally or locally.

A key aspect of being fit and healthy, for sports, especially, is eating good and healthy food. There are, however, foods some of us just can’t stand. Food that, if we could, we’d make illegal! Here is what food the All Saints crew said they would illegalise:

  • Gruel type food, food done badly
  • Pineapple on pizza
  • Lasagna
  • Olives
  • Cigarettes [the person said this because you can consume them]
  • Mushrooms ewww
  • Spam
  • Kiwi fruit

As you can see, everyone has different food they don’t like.  What food would you ban? Sometimes this can be due to a bad experience or memory. There are always moments in our lives that we wish we could have done differently, maybe give advice to you from that time. This was partly where my inspiration for this question came from. What advice would you [the reader] giver yourself from 5 years ago?

  • Don’t rush in deciding what to do after school/college
  • Don't give up :]
  • Don’t mess about with stuff
  • Be aware of who you trust
  • Live your best life
  • Don’t take everything so seriously

It is important to learn from everything that happens to us. Good or bad. It’s all about what we take away from it and our perspective on life. Trust that you will get through it. Not because of anything we can do [although what we do counts] but because *there is an unconditionally loving God who wants the best for you! And knows how to give you the best and bring the best out of you!

At the end of the day, you are loved! And you are important and beautiful!

Bless you :D
